Community Guidelines

1. Respect Everyone

Treat every member of the community — students, mentors, and staff — with courtesy and respect, regardless of their background, age, gender, religion, or ability. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discriminatory language of any kind is not tolerated.

2. Be Honest and Accurate

• Provide accurate information in your profile, including your qualifications, experience, and identity.
• Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your credentials.
• Reviews and ratings must reflect genuine experiences. Fake reviews, whether positive or negative, are strictly prohibited.

3. Safe and Appropriate Conduct

• All communication on the platform — messages, live classes, and demo sessions — must remain professional and education-focused.
• Sharing sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate account suspension.
• Mentors must maintain professional boundaries with students at all times, especially with minors.
• Any attempt to solicit personal information from minors beyond what is required for the platform's use is prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities.

4. No Spam or Misuse

• Do not use the platform to advertise unrelated products, services, or third-party platforms.
• Do not attempt to bypass the platform to conduct transactions or communication outside Education Setu in a way that undermines platform trust and safety features.
• Automated bots, scraping, or fake account creation is not allowed.

5. Academic Integrity

• Test series and mock tests are meant for genuine self-assessment. Sharing test answers publicly or using unfair means during timed assessments undermines the purpose of the platform.
• Mentors must provide original teaching content and must not plagiarize third-party material without permission.

6. Reporting Violations

If you witness behavior that violates these guidelines — including harassment, inappropriate content, fraud, or safety concerns — please report it immediately using the "Report" option available on mentor and student profiles, or contact our support team directly.

7. Consequences of Violations

Violating these community guidelines may result in content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform, depending on the severity of the violation. Education Setu reserves the right to take appropriate action to protect the safety and integrity of its community.

8. Updates to These Guidelines

These guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect the evolving needs of our community. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
